According to varsity player, Kelsey Frain (outside hitter) her coaches have helped her to be successful in both school and volleyball by being an encouraging, motivational, and helpful, when it comes to school work, and of course volleyball. This year, Brenna Rande has made the varsity team as a freshmen. Brenna has been playing volleyball for 4 years, in and out of school and finds her grades to typically be above average. When asked how she liked being on the varsity team, Brenna’s response was: “I love it! All of my teammates are very supportive and welcoming.”
Senior captains, Emily Eicholzer and Kelsey Frain, along with the other seniors, Chavon Banks and Brittney Lange, are expected to lead the varsity team to a successful season this year. All volleyball players are expected to have good grades and great responsibility. Also, all of the girls have great sportsmanship and a full of positive energy. Even after a close loss in their first game, these ladies are pumped up and ready to win in their next games! Volleyball is a great way to meet new friends, and be more involved in after school activities, even as a supportive fan! You can always ask a volleyball student athlete or one of the coaches when upcoming home games are.
