In the beginning of March our World Affairs classes at Joliet Central participated in the Freedom Project. The students worked very hard writing letters to members of Congress which will be sent March 14th, along with all the students joining a social media campaign through Twitter and Facebook on the 14th as well. To get involved all you have to do is go on your social media accounts and tweet what freedom means to you; whether this be in a video, a piece of art, or anything else you want then post it using the hashtag #MyFreedomDay. You can learn more about this special day and how else you can participate by contacting Mr. Seper in room 353 or by clicking the following link: http://www.cnn.com/specials/world/freedom-project We hope you all decide to get involved! #MyFreedomDayMarch14
