Pretty Little Liars is by far the most intense show I have ever watched. When the first season started I was not sure if it was going to enjoy this show, but after watching the first episode I was definitely hooked. This TV show, aired on ABC Family, is basically about the lives of four teenage girls, Aria, Hannah, Emily, and Spencer. Their little group of friends has a falling out when their Queen bee, Alison, goes missing one night at a slumber party. About a year after Alison’s disappearance they find her and have a funeral where the girls reunite. After the funeral the four girls start receiving text messages from the mysterious “A”. These girls all have secrets that could ruin lives of others and their own. Aria has a relationship with the new teacher Ezra, Spencer had a fling with her sister’s boyfriend, Emily is gay, and Hannah’s mom is in debt. This “A” figure is threatening to tell everyone their secrets. I think the intensity of this show comes from the character “A” because she/he is always threatening people and throwing new obstacles in the show that the girls must overcome.
