The Hunger Games series started off with Hunger Games, which went above and beyond! A young girl named Katniss must learn to listen and work as a team, yet make sure she is the last one standing. There are many unexpected twists that keep you turning the page. Once you finish this book you are aching to read the next book, Catching Fire. At first this book seems to be a repeat of the first one. Katniss is once again fighting but not for her life, for someone else. Katniss is out of a plan, one which could cost many lives. Staying away from her family is hard enough, but knowing the fact that they are in mortal danger us worse. Catching Fire not only focuses on the Capital, but also on the lives of the innocents. As a sequel this book is a must read. Of course it is nothing compared to the original but like Katniss, you will want to learn more. At the end everything becomes clear to everyone; everyone except Katniss. Mockingjay was a good finisher for the Hunger Games Trilogy! At the beginning Katniss is doubting herself and doubting who she can trust. The book is great from page one and will keep you hooked. Everyone must team up, friends or enemies, for one goal: Freedom! You will shed tears once you finish. Someone has a happily ever after, and someone doesn’t even get an “after” This series is highly recommended for those who love fighting, friendship, and romance.
