The 2015 Video Music Awards or more commonly known as the VMA’s, was hosted by Miley Cyrus who at least changed five different times in her bold outfits. There were performances by Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, The Weekend, Justin Bieber, Tori Kelly, Twenty One Pilots A$AP Rocky and Miley Cyrus who performed inside. While Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Demi Lovato, Iggy Azalea Cher Lloyd w and Pharrell Williams performed outside The Orpheum Theatre. Highlights of the VMA’s were Kayne West announcing that he will be running for president in 2020 with a motivational speech. Taylor Swift winning the most awards (Best Collaboration, Best Pop Video, Best Female Video and Video of the Year).  One of the most memorable moments was the award for Best Video with a Social Message, Big Sean Featuring Kayne West and John Legend “One Man Can Change the World.” Big Sean dedicated the song to his grandmother because she taught him one person can make a difference in the world. Another memorable moment was Nicki calling out Miley, but Miley did not retaliate she just said what she had to say and re congratulate Nicki. Some awards were presented by Ice Cube and his O’Shea Jackson who awarded the Video of the Year, Taylor Swift presented the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award, Serayah and Jussie Smollett presented the Best Video with a Social Message, and Rebel Wilson presented the Best Hip-Hop award. The night ended with a performance by Miley Cyrus and Wayne Coyne with her song “Do It and outfit to match”.
