2019 Super Bowl Half-Time Show

Every year people look forward to the Super Bowl halftime show, there have been some very good performances that to this day leave people with chills but there have also been some very bad performances that have left the audience confused. Some of the best halftimes show ever were: in 2013 when Destiny’s child performed, 2012 with Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Cee Lo Green, and LMFAO, and the best of all time which still gives people chills is Prince’s 2007 performance. This year’s Super Bowl halftime show performers were Maroon 5, Travis Scott, and Big Boi; the question now is were they good enough to be known as some of the best performers or did they fall short? The Super Bowl halftime stage is the biggest stage in America with around 22 million viewers from the Super Bowl telecast and the biggest performers to exist have performed in the past people like Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Beyoncé. This year’s Super Bowl halftime show seemed to fall short with many people coming after the performers after it. People not only said bad things about their performance but also their wardrobe. People were saying that Maroon 5’s performance was hard to remember, and you hardly know you’re watching it because they played it safe making it a very dull show to watch. It also didn’t help their case to have performed at all since many artists were boycotting due to the NFL’s treatment of Collin Kaepernick; a player who is also an activist. During their performance, there was a lot of fire on the stage but no spark in their performance; the only thing left to say is that this year’s halftime show performance was forgettable, and I wouldn’t recommend watching it.
