Twice is a nine-member south Korean girl group who recently released their 3rd full-length studio album called Formula of Love: O+T=<3. The track list consists of 16 songs, with a lead single of “Scientist” and “The feels”. Throughout the years Twice had made a lot of songs in the past, but this album was truly different from others not only because of the style they chose but also because of the maturity and meaning in this album.

The title track, “Scientist” is a song about how love isn’t something that you should put a lot of thought into and that you should just follow your heart. The message is that ‘you should just go for it. “Moonlight” is a fun and addictive song that has a disco groove vibe to it. This song is a full English track. “Icon” is the next follow up after “Moonlight” this song is also a full English track. This song is very powerful because of the lyrics. “Damn I got it. I’m iconic.” This shows a lot of confidence. Twice member, Dahyun was one of the co-writers that helped write the lyrics of “Cruel”. Even though the meaning of this song is about how an undamaged appearance is cruel to you during a break-up, for me it’s really catchy and fun. “Real you” was written by Jihyo; another member of twice. The meaning of this song is asking for honesty from someone who is full of themselves. This song and it’s really catchy, however it’s not my favorite. Next up, is “F.I.L.A (Fall in love again)”. Personally I adore this song, it’s so catchy and enjoyable. “Last Waltz” was absolutely amazing. “Last Waltz” is about making a breakup into a happy ending. “Expresso” is about the feeling you get once you drink a cup of espresso. “Rewind” is an R&B ballad song. I love this song so much because of how relaxing it is. Inspired by a dried out cactus, “Cactus” is a pop rock ballad song. The first sub-unit track is “Push & Pull” by Jihyo, Sana and Dahyun. This was such a fun song to listen to and has some 80’s vibes to it. “HELLO” is the second sub-unit song by Nayeon, Momo and Chaeyoung. Lastly,“1,3,2” by Jeongyeon, Mina and Tzuyu. This song really reminds me of summer, it kind of has a reggaetón type of vibe to it. “Candy” is a song dedicated to their fans. Twice made this song to show their love and appreciation towards their fans and anyone who supports them. This song was super cute and lovely to listen to! Lastly, “The Feels” is a super catchy song with fun lyrics and a cool dance.

Overall, everything about this album is great, with their melodies, and harmonies, to their catchy lyrics.  It is an amazing album to listen to. Every song has its own different meaning and uniqueness.
