Stranger Things Season 4

Picking up after the last season’s success and blow-up Netflix would have had no reason to not give the Duffers and other cast members another season for the smash hit Stranger Things. And after a two-year wait, Netflix dropped the fourth season in two parts giving them more of the massive phenomenon Stranger Things proves to be. For the story after the conclusion of the previous season the characters are all split apart, The Byers family (Mother Joyce, and two boys Will and Jonathan) with the returning main star in Eleven or “El” has the others all moving to California to get away from the things they’ve gone through. Meanwhile back in the town of Hawkins, the majority of the characters go about their lives normally, the remaining kids (Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair, Max Mayfield) all attend the same Hawkins High with the three boys being separated in terms of interest, for Lucas now is on the basketball team making himself proud with the star of the team Jason Carver, and for Dustin and Mike they’ve continued to play their favorite board game in Dungeons and Dragons this time instead of them playing in someone’s basement they pull it after school with the “Hellfire” club and the breakout character of the season, Eddie Munson (played by Joseph Quinn). Simultaneously the teens in Hawkins (Steve Harrington, Robin Buckley, and Nancy Wheeler) all continue their lives and start new jobs of differing success. Yet in spite of all the characters feeling at ease, there seem to be multiple forces working against them, with the government, Communist Russia, and a nightmarish monster who has no qualms about using someone’s secrets and fears to kill them horrifically all trying to end the lives of the characters. All and all the fourth season of Stranger Things shows that the series is here to stay and with such heartfelt moments in certain episodes and other moments that will make you scream in both anguish and excitement.
