Gamers, have you ever considered designing a game of your own? Now there is a great opportunity for you to get immersed in the fantasy world you’ve come to enjoy as a gamer; apply your imagination and creative skills by participating in an upcoming Game Maker Design Contest.
John Figliulo, a business teacher at JTHS, is encouraging interested students and gamers alike to enter JJC’s game design contest. Applicants must take on the fun challenge of designing their very own computer game! Interested participants must register by February 15, 2011.
The lucky winner will be awarded cash prizes and a plaque in their honor. All participants who enter will receive a certificate of participation and an invite to the awards dinner.

This contest is open to all high school students in the Joliet Junior College Community College District 525. As a high school student you need a sponsor.
If this contest interests you, then consider participating in the training session on November 13 in the morning at the University of St. Francis. Mr. Figliulo has registered as a mentor and is willing to help. The deadline for the submission of the completed game and the winners will be announced at a later date.
