Homecoming is just around the corner which means voting will happen really soon! There are a lot of eager students waiting to see if their name will be the one that is called for Homecoming Court for Joliet Central’s 2011 Homecoming. The halls of Joliet Central are covered with creative posters and sayings that the candidates have posted to promote
themselves for the election. Many students had friends help them as well. There are a total of thirty eight students combined from the classes of 2012 and 2013 that are running this year. The total number of juniors running for Homecoming Court is nineteen.
There are ten males and nine females running. The male junior candidates are Aaron Real, Chance Paluga, Juan Romero,Eric Lindstrom, Enrique Romo, Eduardo Espinoza, Matt Hall, Julio Montenegro, Hector Sanchez, and Carlos Curry. The nine female juniors that are running for homecoming court this year are Chloe Cole, Amanda Augustine, Jennifer Villalobos, Isabel Jimenez, Jasmine Moore, Juana Alvarado, Jessica Muniz, Fabiola Noriega, and Molly Lopez. The seniors also have nineteen candidates but there are more female seniors running than males. All the senior male candidates that are running are Jesus Patino, Jason Curry, Domenic Rohe, Christian Avalos, Sam Ellis, Curtis Parker, Drakkar Williams, Marco Juarez, and Alex Ruiz. The females that are running are Brittney Holman, Ashley Neal, Olivia Oltman, Brenda Zavala, Taylor Carlson, Kyleigh Cromer, Bridget Casey, Tyvonna Peterson, Alejandra Medina, and Maria Patino. One of these seniors will be chosen for Joliet Central 2011 Homecoming King and Queen and will be crowned on October 7 at the Homecoming assembly and then will attend the parade and varsity football game the next morning. It will be an amazing experience for all of the winners.
