Tri-Fecta

The Steelmen Tri-Fecta series encourages students and staff to GET OUT, GET FIT, & GET SOCIAL. This year the events are planned around Halloween, Thanksgiving, and St. Patrick’s Day. Each themed event gives students the opportunity to dress up and get into the holiday spirit. Students who participate in all three events receive a long sleeve-dry fit shirt. Last year over 250 students participated in the Tri-Fecta series. Healthy snacks, drinks, and breakfast items are provided after each run. The Steelmen Tri-Fecta is organized and supervised by teachers in the Health and Medicine Academy. Local businesses sponsor this health and wellness initiative to off-set the cost of shirts. They are seeking monetary donations to help with the cost of the shirts, supplies, and snacks throughout the 2017-2018 school year. The Steelmen Tri-Fecta has 3 different sponsors Blue, Silver, and Gold. The first is sponsor is a $100 donation which includes your name on a shirt, the second is a $500 donation with a medium logo on shirt, and the third is a $1,000 donation with a large logo on the shirt. The Steelmen Tri-Fecta events kick off with the Costume Run on October 27th. The second event in the Tri-Fecta is the Turkey Trot and that takes place on November 21st. The final race is the I’rish I was Running, which is a St. Patricks’ day themed event. Participants will meet in the Atrium of the Field House before every event.
