Before a team can actually play, there must be a team.
According to the head Boys Basketball coach, Coach Jeffrey Corcoran, 40 boys came out for the varsity team but only 16 boys were actually kept for the team. Also 12 sophomores and 26 freshmen were kept between the A and B teams. Coach Jeffrey Corcoran believes that the team has the best players possible. The only returning player from the township team is Darius Norris. Coach Jeffrey Corcoran believes that he is a tremendous player who will without a doubt be able to work well with the new players. There are a total of 8 seniors, including Norris, who will play at Joliet Township Central High School for their last season.
It is not that the varsity team is only made up of seniors, there are also many juniors and one sophomore, yet it is the question if they can make it without the seniors next year. Not only that can they even make it with the seniors this year? That is something only the Varsity Boys Basketball Team and the future can answer. According to Corcoran, the team has much potential for this season.
