Now that summer is long gone and the ground has been covered with snow you may wonder what some good things are to get outside and be active. Here are some activities to keep you busy in all the snow. Sledding with friends is always a good way to have some fun. Sleds don’t cost that much, and a local hill is free. Plus you get to have a blast. Another way to have fun in this winter weather is to go ice skating. Even if you have no idea how to ice skate, it will be fun learning how. If you can find a local pond or lake it will be inexpensive. Be sure to test that the ice is thick enough so you don’t fall through! Even though we have all grown up a little bit, you can never be too old to build a snowman. If the snow is good packing snow then it will be perfect. Also, with good packing snow you can build snow forts. With the snow forts you can have a snowball fight, and those are intense. Make sure you come up with some rules though; no one wants to get hurt. Then start diving as the snowballs start flying. Make sure to try these activities because before you know it the snow will be gone.
