Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi made her debut on Dancing with the Stars during the 2 hour long premiere with partner Sasha Farber. While the pair was not exceeding the limits, they received a 23, the fourth highest score of the night. The stars did the cha-cha to Flo-Rida’s ‘Wild Ones’. It was seemingly flawless, even though the dancing is bland compared to Nicole’s past outings on The Jersey Shore. Polizzi made several headlines following the show, truly making her stand out from the rest. That is, except for Amber Riley and Derek Hough, who received a score of 27, the highest of the night by far. This was almost a blindside to the public due to previous predictions of pair Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff taking it all this season. It was very fascinating to watch not one, but all of the stars. Among two of the stars, Bill Nye (the science guy) and partner Tyne Stecklein surely did not impress the judges with their chemistry inspired dance, scoring an extremely low 14 points, the lowest of the night. The future surely is not looking bright for the two. Along with that, pair Keyshawn Johnson and Sharna Burgess were bombed with a close second for the night, receiving a 17. Though they were scolded for lacking timing throughout their performance, judges were impressed by their perky attitudes towards the whole thing, ultimately foreseeing a second chance. Which means bad news for Nye and Stecklein, and good news for Polizzi and Farber. This is going to be a step up for Nicole, who has not only dropped her wild antics on the Jersey Shore, but is now apparently dropping the nickname Snooki, as she announced during the beginning of the show. It was kind of the cherry on top to a pretty crazy premiere of Dancing with the Stars.
