1:35 Movie Play

Recently, the Drama club here at Central has been working on a very special project. For the first time, the club is creating a full-length film to premiere in theaters, titled 1:35. Filming for the movie began taking place during late September, and although there is no set release date for 1:35, it is most likely expected that it will premiere during the last week of February, considering the auditorium is currently closed until next semester due to construction. Good news is, there is information on what the plot is about! The film follows a group of 13 high school students who are called to a conference room for unknown reasons. After realizing that they all have no idea as to why they have been brought to this room, they attempt to leave. That’s when they realize the only door to the room is locked from the outside. What follows is a sequence of events that’ll change the lives of these students forever. We’re hoping that all of you are excited to see 1:35, and hopefully students, staff, and parents will all be able to witness the premiere by some time this February. Considering that the production of 1:35 is an important moment in Joliet Central history, any amount of support for the film definitely will mean a significant amount to the school’s Drama club. Without them, the historical production of this film would’ve never happened.
