Two years ago marked the premiere of the first season of The World According to Jeff Goldblum, a show available exclusively on the streaming platform Disney+. The show stars well-known actor Jeff Goldblum. The title is pretty self-explanatory, as each episode features Goldblum exploring things about the world from his point of view, from sneakers to ice cream, and even tattoos! He also encounters people along the way who help him shape his perspective on what the episode is all about, and at some points in the episode, Goldblum also gives a quick summary of whatever is being discussed in the episode (such as talking about why the human body reacts the way it does to tattoos in the Tattoos episode). Simply, the entire show is just a visual representation of the saying, “You learn something new every day”.

Recently, back in October, a second season of The World According to Jeff Goldblum was announced, and today, November 12th, happens to be the premiere of the second season. On Instagram, the official account for National Geographic made a teaser post for the season. The season will not differ much compared to the previous season (which concluded back in January 2020). Currently, 5 episodes of the second season have been announced (Magic, Fireworks, Monsters, Dogs, and Dance), and are available to be streamed on Disney+. However, in order to watch them, a subscription to the streaming service is required. If you’re interested in nerdy shows such as this one, then the subscription is most definitely worth being paid for.
