Black Adam is a 2022 DC comics superhero film starring Dwayne Johnson, Pierce Brosnan, Noah Centineo, Viola Davis, and Aldis Hodge. This movie is a spinoff movie of the 2019 movie ,Shazam. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson plays Antivillian, Black Adam and promises a turning point for movies in the DC cinematic universe. The film brings characters many probably haven’t heard of like Hawkman, Dr Fate, Cyclone, Atom Smasher, and the movie does good to make these characters likable and entertaining to the big screen. Even a movie about a supervillain sticks to the superhero formula many other movies have done but it still makes do to be entertaining. Black Adams picks flaws of superhero concepts and constantly challenges ideologies of other superheroes. The movie could get boring to people whose superheroes movies aren’t in their liking but the cgi and action compliments each other and shows good interventions of superpowers is something that is interesting to many fans. The feature film pacing and plot are well done and it is not too complicated where most people watching the movie can enjoy. Black Adam is a film where you can enjoy action-adventure movies you can enjoy. I say this because you don’t need to know much of DC comics lore or to read any comics to enjoy the movie as they introduce every character in this movie.
