The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special is a television special released by Disney+ on November 25, 2022, giving MCU fans the conclusion of phase four of Marvel movies. Famous director James Gunn gave fans of the superhero group a fun and crazy story with guest star, Kevin Bacon. The film showed us a very funny, heartfelt, deeper understanding of some characters that many love. The holiday special did really well showing an ongoing life of superheroes between the movies and showed values like showing love to our loved ones without having a whole “save the world” plot. This is not Marvel’s first self-contained mini film, “Werewolf by Night” which was also a seasonal marvel special that came out earlier this year in October.  Marvel’s new trend of mini films is great to see the content of our favorite characters without having to make a trip to the movie theaters and watch on their streaming platform Disney plus. James Gunn is someone who makes this film so entertaining and funny, as he builds a reputation for antics, soundtracks, and translating comics to the big screen. If you are open to watching superheroes other than saving the world and enjoying a Christmas comedy then this film might entertain you when this holiday special hit your television.
