When I first stepped foot in journalism class. Relief waved over me when the teacher, who I now know as Mr.Martz, had introduced himself to me and the other students. Additionally, the editors had informed me that this class was one of the best classes to work on your personal skills, such as communication and one’s emotional health. Throughout the year, I had gained better communication skills and better confidence in myself. Currently I am in my third year of journalism, I feel happier than ever. Upon looking forward to being a part of journalism for another year, I received the best news. I had the chance to be a sports editor. It was originally my goal as a sophomore. Now, I see myself in the position I had desired to be in. I see this as an opportunity for growth because I desire to help others and recently I have been more open with everyone. From sophomore year to now, there’s been progress which I take pride in.
