Summer has come to an end… It’s that time of year again. School time! Along with a new year comes homework, new friends, jobs, relationships, school activities, etc. Reading that probably sounded overwhelming, I know it overwhelmed me. Well, erase that state of mind. Look at a new school year as a fresh start, no procrastinating when you’re trying to make this year great. Trying to balance school, sports, outside life, jobs and anything else thrown your way sounds like a lot right? It is a lot, but no one says you can’t balance it all. As boring as it seems, homework comes first. Get your homework done before anything. If you finish your homework, you can always hangout with family, friends, or anything else you may do to consume time. Now, every day is different. There are rare days where we don’t have homework; those days would be perfect days to catch up on sleep, or catch up with anything you might not have had time for. Working and sports are requirements, they come first. Reading for fun, video games, half-price matinees, and all different kinds of shopping can help lower your stress and help to ease the burden of being back to school.
