Apple is one of the world’s most popular and richest companies in the world. During the WWDC 2020 Keynote, Apple announced iOS 14 and released it on September 16, 2020. The biggest highlight was the new and fresh look it gave to iPhones. One of the most significant changes in iOS 14 is the new app library view. This is where all your apps are placed in an automatically organized folder for a cleaner view. Another significant change is widgets, instead of only being able to view them in the Today view, you can now add them to the home screen. The next feature added is picture in picture and the new Siri interface. Picture in picture was a feature only available in iPads until now. For example, when you’re watching a video or on FaceTime, instead of completely taking you out, your video will play in a small box allowing you to continue using your iPhone for other things. The new Siri interface is similar, instead of Siri taking up your full screen it only shows the orb. A new translation app by Apple was added and was designed for conversations, works offline, and will have 11 languages added on launch. The last big feature are app clips. These are micro parts of an app so you’re able to use the app without actually installing it. There are a lot of more great and innovative features such as, QR payments, memoji ,messages updates, maps, camera, FaceTime, and keyboard improvements and privacy enhancements. The installment is available for iPhone SE (1st generation) and newer along with iPod touch (7th generation).
