At the Busey Bank Field in the Joliet Memorial Stadium, from June 20-22, 2025, the Taste of Joliet will be held. When the event starts, visitors are free to explore the field to check out the many food vendors, carnival rides, and the live music.
Since 1981, the Taste of Joliet has been held annually to experience the midst of Summer and host fun activities. Some other programs that happen before the Taste, are an Easter event and other concerts in the park. There are recurring carnival rides and food options as well, but the headliners for live music changes every year. For 2025, Billy Corgan and the Machines of God are headlining. Billy Corgan is the lead guitarist, singer, and songwriter for The Smashing Pumpkins.

A post made by John Ferak on the Joliet Area Bar & Restaurant Guide stated “What does everyone love best about Taste of Joliet? That’s right. It’s the F-O-O-D.” Many others who have visited also agreed. For 2026, there is no way to know who is headlining or what features there will be in terms of rides, but based on previous years, they will be different. Also in Illinois, the Taste of Chicago is in September of this year. It is similar to the Taste of Joliet, but on a larger scale as Chicago is the most well known city in the state. No other posts have been made so far that give any other details for this year, but as the dates in June come closer, more information will be given.
