Covid-19 Update
April 10, 2020
This is an unfathomable event no one saw coming. If you would have asked me how I expected my senior year to end, it was not like this. At first I felt selfish to think of how sad I was to not experience all the senior festivities; prom, banquets, or my last few months with some of my friends. In the realm of things happening around the world, my feelings felt insignificant. Many have lost their jobs, are worried about taking care of their families, or losing their loved ones without being with them in their last moments. In the end, we are all in this together and the best we can do is support each other from afar. I hope we can all take this time to learn a new skill, bond with family, or work on your physical/mental health. Finally, let’s thank everyone working on the front lines to help keep us safe and with our necessary supplies. Thank you Medical Professionals, first responders, grocery store workers, and all other essential employees.
Stay safe and healthy Steelmen!
