Joliet Central homecoming red carpet premiere 2022 will take place on Saturday, September 24th from 6pm to 9pm. Tickets have sold out the last day of their sale, September 15th! If you got a ticket to the red carpet event, remember to bring your current school ID and your online ticket to be able to enter. Don’t forget to vote for homecoming court! Voting forms have been emailed out and homecoming court will be announced and Senior Varsity will be recognized along with their teams at halftime of the powderpuff football game on Wednesday, September 21st at 5pm with performances from marching band, poms, cheerleaders, and the dude squad. Tickets will be sold for $5 online at your MySchoolBucks account. The money of the tickets purchased will go out to the pink heals Joliet chapter and Joliet Central athletic scholarships. The homecoming parade which will take place on Saturday, September 24th at 9:30am which starts at Herkimer street, don’t forget participants, you arrive at 8:45am. 

Don’t forget to show your school spirit, Monday, September 19, party like it’s 1999! Wear anything inspired from the year 1999! Tuesday, September 20, anything but a backpack, bring anything but a backpack to carry your stuff, must be school appropriate, talk to your dean if you have any doubts of what to bring. Wednesday, September 21, class color day, freshmen wear yellow, sophomores wear gray, juniors wear blue, seniors wear black, and staff wear purple! Thursday, September 22, twin day, get someone in the school to match clothes with you! Friday, September 23, Steelmen spirit day, show even more school spirit by wearing Steelmen colors, yellow and blue, or Steelmen merchandise! 

Lastly, Central homecoming football game versus Plainfield East will be Friday, September 23, at 6:30pm, season passes will be recognized on game day. If any community members or non-students are planning on going, they can buy their ticket online before game day at bit.ly/CentralPresale, if you are a student, you must have an activity sticker or an online ticket purchased on GoFan and your student ID to be able to enter the game.
