Mid-October BTS announced their enrollment in the South Korean military until 2025. Each member will serve their time and work on solo music throughout that period. Many fans have expressed their disappointment through social media.

In South Korea, males between the age of 20-30 will dedicate two years of their life to the military. The oldest member Kim Seokjin was initially listed in 2020 (Covid period) which was obviously postponed due to the pandemic. Each member will follow suit and serve their time.

BTS fandom has shown its love and dedication to them by posting heartfelt messages and posts to social media. As an Army myself, I am proud to support a group that openly talks about self-love and appreciating who you are as an individual. Their music has helped many people from around the world in ways that are unexplainable.

In 2025 BTS will regroup and possibly do a comeback for fans to enjoy. Earlier this year BTS also announced that they will be taking a break to grow as individual artists. As of now, each member will release songs through now and 2025.
