The holidays are getting closer as we speak, and there are so many fun things to do with your family this time of the year! This year, there are so many events happening in Joliet, but I am only going to name a few, sadly. The first event I found was called, “Home Free Family Christmas” at Rialto Square. The event is happening on December 8th at 7:30. There will be a country music band, called Home Free, singing holiday songs all night. They will be singing popular holiday songs and some original songs of their own. There will be food, music, and adults can enjoy themselves too with some festive drinks. This event will be fun for the family, and probably older kids. You can sing and dance with your family and friends!

Another fun holiday event that will be happening soon is the Santa’s Workshop at the YMCA! This event will be taking place on Friday, December 16th, and is completely free and open to the community. Enjoy making reindeer food, interacting with Santa, ornament decorating, and more! This will be a fun event to do with your family! You can get a pre-registration anywhere from 5 to 6 p.m. for the first workshop on the website. In the other workshops, you can get a pre-registration from 6 to 7 p.m., and the last workshop from 7 to 8 p.m. All on the same day!
