Joliet Central, Pack the House

The Friday night ‘Pack the House’ game was a great game to see. Squaring off was the Joliet Central Steelmen vs. Rich South. Central was pumped up from the start, full of energy and adrenaline. Friends and family looked on, waving their rally towels in hope for a Steelmen win! With packed bleachers for “Pack the House” night, the Central fans looked on as the Steelmen take the lead. Feeling so hyped, full of passion and happiness the Steelmen try to keep the lead and put this game away. Then the mood all changed. Rich South takes the lead going into the halftime. Cheerleaders came out to get the crowd back in the game. Hyping up the crowd to hype up the Steelmen. Beginning of the second half, emotions ran deep as Central could not find a way to take the lead back. Turning the ball over twice on an interception and fumble, the Steelmen could not find a way to get back in the game. With a brilliant effort by all of the team, it was too late for Central to come back for the win. The Steelmen fell short with a loss of 46-to 20.
