Along with helping her team win 1st at conference for the fourth year in a row, senior varsity golf player Amelia Hromek is also one of the Steelmen October students of the month! They took 4th overall in regionals, with three girls advancing to sectionals. Mia shows her support for the girls, “I have lots of faith in these girls and I know they will do well.”  She demonstrates pride in her sport, in her academics, and with her team as well. Although this was a stressful season for Mia due to her being a senior and wanting that fourth title so badly, she said she had an amazing team this year and wouldn’t change anything. She has improved greatly since her freshman year starting in golf, and being an inspiration to the team. She has broken many personal records, and continues to improve her skills with every game. Mia’s advice for the upcoming varsity players is to play the game the best as they can, seeing how golf is a very mental sport and it is easy to get frustrated.
