The Qatar Grand Prix, a Formula One motor racing event, was held for the first time on November 21st as part of the 2021 championship. Hamilton started the race in first place with Bottas in second, Gasly in third. When the race started Hamilton got a good start and made progress but the flying Dutchman got off to a better start able to get all the way to 4th place by the 3 corner. Verstappren’s superior skills allowed him to quickly get all the way to second place and on Hamilton’s tail with ease. Hamilton was flying through the track and setting best laps while Verstappen did everything he could to catch up from the 5 place penalty, a major disadvantage. That wasn’t the only fight going on out there as the great Fernando Alonso showed that he still has what it takes. He was able to keep second place behind Hamilton for quite some time until he had to pit. It was there where he lost quite a few places, however this put Verstappen in the opportune moment. He was able to catch up and secure second place. Hamilton was able to go through the race with no issues and got the fastest lap, almost as if it was no big deal. Although, most people are speculating that Verstappen would have won had he not had a five place grid penalty. In the end, it didn’t matter because he was able to secure second place finish and his teammate Perez got fourth. Truly an awesome display.
