The badminton team had a special night where they celebrated their seniors, thanked their teachers and played and exciting match against Oswego East.
It happens every year, the badminton team holds a Senior night to celebrate their last season. Younger players make posters, baskets, and decorate to show how much they care. It’s a tradition that everyone looks forward to. The night started with students giving their favorite teachers a thank-you letter and taking a picture with them. After that, the seniors were given posters made by the younger players. Then came the big moment, everyone made an aisle with their rackets, and the seniors walked through it while the coach said a few words. After the celebration, it was time to play. The rules were announced, and the match against Oswego East began. One of the coaches said, “Senior night is all about remembering our senior and their past four year in athletics. It is a beautiful night full of happiness and tears. The girls share their stories from the past few year and talk about their future plans. It is special to see how they have bonded with each other over the years”.
