Life is never what you think it is, as life is constantly changing with time. My life has changed so much with the passing of loved ones and going from a small town grade school to a massive high school. Just the one thing that always followed me throughout was my writing. My teachers from when I was little, always said that I was very creative in writing. I think they were right. I loved it so much because when I would write creatively; I got to imagine my own movie, something only I can think up, and I could control everything that happens in the story, unlike in film. When I joined journalism, it was fun. In my first two years, the teacher definitely taught me a lot, and how to improve my writing. Between my junior year and now, I’m having the greatest time because I get to write movie reviews on any movies I want with in reason and I love that, the reason I am the movie guy in journalism is because that’s all I do: I watch movies, talk about them to anyone I meet because I feel that gives the most attention, and give the movie a new life. This is because most films that are older soon get forgotten about and that’s where I come in with my movie review page. Give people a new look on film, and that maybe they should watch this film, even though it may not be for them. It is the most fun I have ever had doing anything. The people are great, and the teacher is too. I love what I do, and want to continue it, not just doing movie reviews, but becoming a journalist, like in one of my favorite movies “ Fletch 1983 “ Chevy Chase plays an investigative reporter, that would be awesome, but I know for a fact that some day I will be the most sought after journalist in the country. It will happen. All you have to do is wait and see. In the end, it is a great class. I recommend it to anyone wholeheartedly. Lastly, to leave you with something to think about, a quote from one of the greatest minds in all of history. Marcus Aurelius once said “Adapt yourself to the life you have been given, and truly love the people with whom destiny has surrounded you with”.
