As the month of September is starting, schools are also starting. Unfortunately, for most students starting from the age of 10 and ending with the age 24, it is the month where bullying, harassment, assault and mental illness are at their lowest which causes them to try and find the quickest way to get rid of their problems. It sure has been a struggle to be able to get through bullying, mental illnesses, and harassment. At times people actually deal with these types of situations quietly. Although this might be a harsh truth, it has been reported that 50% of the time that whenever a person seems the happiest, they’re always the ones going through most. Suicide has been one of the highest rates in about 10 states Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Wyoming, Utah, California and Wyoming. Finally, suicide prevention month is a good way to learn and educate yourself and others about the warning signs of suicide, raising awareness among the community and celebrate recovery. It is important to make sure you reach for help if you know someone who is not okay and remember, you are not alone.
